self-care saturday: 16 small steps to happiness
i remember once believing that as long as i accomplish A and B and maintain C than I will somehow maintain peace and happiness for myself.
i was totally wrong with that logic.
the older (and wiser) i have become, the more i realize that happiness is more about how you live in the moment. cliche as it may sound ... it truly is a journey and not an actual final destination. it is something we seek daily in every affirmation, smile, and deed - something you have to intentionally pursue.
